BRAD BERTZ, B&M's ONLINE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST,
TO TEACH 'FOUNDATIONS OF WEB DESIGN' AT
WAUKESHA COUNTY TECHNICAL COLLEGE THIS FALL

Brad was invited by Dean Flowers, Associate Dean of Graphic Communications of Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC), to teach Foundations of Web Design being offered this fall. This course introduces students to two Adobe Studio applications, which include Dreamweaver and Flash. In addition, students will learn how to adjust photos and images for the Web using Adobe's Photoshop application. Students enrolled in this course will be given an introduction to building a Web site using these three applications. Through lab activities students will have the opportunity to build and design Web sites and animations. Additional course work is available for students who would like to develop more skills working with Adobe Studio's Dreamweaver and Flash applications.

Brad's other teaching engagements have been at Milwaukee Area Technical College Milwaukee. The Graphic Design Industry Seminar covered real world projects from design to development with graphic design students. He also has a history with WCTC as a Print/Graphic Design Advisory Board member for 3 years. He has contributed to many local college portfolio reviews and graphic design boards as an expert in print, graphic design, and interactive development. His background has over 15 years in the print industry and over 10 years in graphic design and interactive development.
