Our Services
Before you can print it, you have to be able to process it. As customer sophistication grows and processing demands increase, Prepress departments have evolved to state-of-the-art technology hubs which are fully capable of meeting the wide gamut of customer's needs.
Burton & Mayer customers set up their files on mixed platforms in a variety of software programs. Our staff is fully cognisant and proficient in both MAC and PC based desktop publishing programs and stand ready to support our customer's needs.
- Files can be received in any number of formats and in different delivery modes including online (FTP), e-mail, CD, DVD, disk.
- Once files are received, they are formally preflighted for completeness.
- Initial proofs are generated in hard copy format or soft proofing via Acrobat PDF.
- Once approved for content by the customer, the files are automatically trapped and imposed for final layout to plate or film.
- A Rampage based processing system provides standardized processing yielding an all important "RIP once, output many" scenario. This type of a system guarantees "file integrity" to our customer base.
- Once ripped, files maintain total integrity throughout the imposition process. Customers do not have to concern themselves with image movement or text reflow.
New workflows are being constantly revamped. We listen to our customers and respond to their needs in whatever way possible.
